About Telehealth
Therapy doesn’t have to involve a commute, a waiting room, or putting on “real pants.” Telehealth offers a flexible, accessible, and often more comfortable way to get support—especially for folks balancing busy lives, chronic illness, parenting, demanding jobs, or simply a full emotional plate. It also allows me to serve clients all across Texas—so no matter where you’re located, we can still connect.
I did my clinical training in both in-person and telehealth settings, and I personally choose telehealth for my own therapy—because it works, and it fits. Whether you're new to therapy or transitioning from in-person care, know that meaningful, connected work can absolutely happen through a screen.
Comfort of Your Own Space
Whether you're in your favorite hoodie on the couch, cozied up in bed, sitting in your car for some privacy, outside on a pretty day, or tucked inside on a rainy one—being in a familiar environment can make it easier to open up, regulate your nervous system, and feel safe during sessions.
No Commute = More Energy
Life is full. Telehealth saves you time and energy, which can be especially meaningful if you’re already running on low batteries.
A Different Kind of Intimacy
Seeing someone in their natural setting—whether it's your home or mine (virtually!)—can offer a unique, grounded kind of connection that feels different from an office setting. It’s therapy that meets you exactly where you are.
Consistency Through Chaos
Sick kids? Flare day? Unexpected weather? Telehealth makes it easier to keep your appointments even when life gets messy.
Accessibility
For people with chronic pain, mobility limitations, or anxiety about new environments, virtual therapy removes a major barrier to care. And the bonus? You get to keep all your creature comforts within reach—whether that’s your heating pad, an ice pack, your favorite squishmallow, or all of the above. No need to mask, pack a bag, or brace for fluorescent lights. No energy for hygiene or to get out of your robe? No problem. Just show up as you are.
Therapy + Pets = Yes Please
You can cuddle up with your animals during session (built-in co-regulation!) or see mine pop in from time to time. Many clients find that being near their pets helps them feel calmer, safer, and more grounded. Plus, we can practice regulation strategies using tools you already have at home—pillows, weighted blankets, fidget toys, cozy corners, and yes, snuggly pets absolutely count.
